WATERTOWN — Town Manager Mark Raimo has announced that based on the uptick of Covid-19 cases in the town, he has closed all town offices, including the Central Office of the Board of Education, to walk-in business, as of Monday, November 16.

All town business will be by appointment only until further notice.

The town needs to keep employees safe while providing services to the community.

Also, as a reminder, there are no in-person meetings. All town meetings will be virtual.

“I cannot stress enough the need for us all to follow the CDC guidelines to prevent further spread of Covid-19 in our community,” Mr. Raimo said.

“Our local business community needs to be diligent in enforcing mask-wearing and social distancing of their patrons to continue a robust, proactive approach.

“Together we can reduce the spread and hope to return to some form of normalcy soon.”
