WATERTOWN — Absentee ballots for the Tuesday, November 5 Municipal Elections will be available beginning Friday, October 4 at the town clerk’s office for qualified electors.
Obtaining an absentee ballot is a two-step process. An application must be completed and verified by the town clerk’s office before an absentee ballot will be issued.
Application forms can be picked up in person, mailed or downloaded via a link on the town’s website at www.watertownct.org, by clicking on departments tab, then the town clerk tab and then the absentee ballot information tab.
The application can be faxed to 860-945-2706 but the original signed application must be received by the town clerk before the close of polls on voting day for the ballot to be counted.
Absentee ballots must be mailed to the applicant or may be given only to the applicant in person.
Ballots must be returned to the town clerk’s office before the close of polls on Tuesday, November 5th.
