WE THE PEOPLE

The Watertown Library is hosting a Constitution Week display through Monday, September 23. To help celebrate the occasion, Daughters of the American Revolution Trumbull-Porter Chapter member and Constitution Week Chair Judy Maier (left), Town Council member Katherine C. Duplissie and DAR Trumbull-Porter Chapter Regent Freda Carreiro presented a proclamation from the Town Council to recognize the event.

Residents can visit the library to pick up a free pocket copy of the Constitution, learn interesting facts about the Constitution and check out books about America’s founding document. The Constitution was officially framed on September 17, 1787. (Perugini photo)
