WATERTOWN — The Watertown Department of Public Works announces that the Hamilton Avenue Transfer Station will be closed on Thursday, December 24. It will reopen on Saturday, December 26 for regular business hours from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., weather permitting. Contact the Public Works Department at 860-945-5240 for more information regarding this matter, permits, the fee schedule or acceptable items.
