THOMASTON — The Thomaston Public Library will host volunteer tax preparation services at the library, 248 Main St.

Services will be available on Tuesdays and Saturdays, by appointment only, beginning Tuesday, February 4.

Volunteers will be helping people with incomes less than $56,000 to prepare and electronically file their federal and state tax returns.

Participants must present a valid photo ID and social security cards for themselves, spouses and dependents. 

They must also bring all 2019 tax documents for income and expenses and a copy of their 2018 return.

Both spouses must be present to sign joint e-filed returns.
