THOMASTON — The Youth Ministry of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish will host its annual fundraising auction at 6 p.m. Friday, February 7 at the Lyceum Event Center, 181 Main St., Terryville. The Youth Ministry, which began in 2012, aims to encourage the youth of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish to strengthen their relationship with God through service, fun and faith-related events.

According to the parish, this is the largest fundraiser and it is a critical source of support for these programs.

A ticket to the event includes the silent auction, with items from more than 100 local organizations.

There will be live music by The Remnants. Participants may also enjoy a soda and wine tasting, appetizers, door prizes and free babysitting.

Tickets are $20 each or $100 for an entire table which seats 10 people.

Tickets may be purchased at the parish office; Plymouth Dental Care, 65 Main St., Terryville and Beacon Prescriptions, 241 Main St., Terryville.
