LITCHFIELD — White Memorial Conservation Center will host Nature’s Not-So-Cuddly, with Education Director Carrie Szwed is planned for 2 p.m. Thursday, January 21.

Certain animals often get overlooked, and sometimes maligned, because of their appearance.

Participants will meet a few native creatures up close, such as a snake and a salamander, and  hear tips on how you can be a hero to these “unhuggables.”

This free virtual program will be hosted in Zoom and simulcast on Facebook Live. Pre-register is required if using Zoom by going to the website at
