LEOS SELLING PINS FOR A CAUSE

Leo Daniela Perugini waits on a customer on April 17 in front of Adams Market. The Watertown High Leo Club sold more than 200 puzzle piece pins for Sun, Moon, and Stars’ new scholarship program. The scholarship will go to a WHS student who will work with special-needs children. The sale continues from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 1 at Labonnes Market, Straits Tnpke. The Leo group hopes to make $1,000 toward the scholarship.

The students are asking for a minimum donation of $1 per pin. Puzzle piece masks will be available at $5 each. Those seeking more information may contact Lion Melita Harris, Leo Liaison, at 860-417-8182.
