WATERTOWN — The Watertown Land Trust has scheduled a hike at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, October 17, at the Schienda Preserve, located between 129 and 195 Hinman Rd.

This is an easy walk with interesting old town line boundary markers and diverse habitats.

The land trust’s Annual Meeting will take place at 7 p.m. Monday, October 18, Senior Center on Falls Avenue.

Tim Abbott of the Housatonic Valley Association will speak on the Importance of Land Acquisitions. He will take other questions as well.

Light refreshments will be served. The meeting is open to the public. Registration is not required.
