WOODBURY — The Glebe House Museum will host All Hollow’s Eve Cemetery Tours on Saturday, October 24, at 49 Hollow Rd. Tours, available beginning at 5:30 p.m., will leave the grounds of the Glebe House Museum every 15 minutes, ending at 9 p.m. The rain date is Sunday, October 25. Led by lantern light through a trail of luminaries, participants will tour the ancient cemetery with their spirit guide and visit the final resting places of some of Woodbury’s notable and not-so notable residents.
Tour-goers will walk among the dead in burying grounds more than 350 years old and hear stories of the mortal remains that lie beneath the feet.
Adults and teens with interest in acting are encouraged to volunteer. Volunteers are also needed to help with other activities for the evening.
The museum also offers a jack-o-lantern contest for the chance to win a gift card.
Prizes will be awarded for scariest, cutest and most creative designs.
Jack-o-lanterns will be on display at the Glebe House Museum on All Hollow’s Eve for all to admire. There is an entry fee.
