DERBY — The state Department of Energy and Environmental Center’s Kellogg Environmental Center will host a virtual event titled Bald Eagles, at 1 p.m. Sunday, January 10.

Join Master Naturalist Ginny Apple to learn about Bald Eagles in Connecticut.

Ms. Apple has years of experience leading groups and provided interpretive programs at the Shepaug Dam and has provided her interpretive skills on the Essex Valley Steam Train’s Eagle Flyer.

Join online to learn about the behavior and history of bald eagles and hopefully become inspired to go eagle watching this winter.

Those interested should register via susan.quincy@ct.gov or 203-734-2513.
