Watertown Library to Offer Zoom Programs About Job Searching

WATERTOWN — The Watertown Library Association will host two Zoom workshops focused on job searching, managing stress and planning strategies. Each workshop will last approximately 90 minutes. The library is located at 470 Main St. The first workshop at noon, Thursday January 13 is “Let’s Have a Conversation About Job Searching.” The program will review all aspects of job searching and participants can share their experiences and have questions answered in an interactive setting.

The second program takes place at noon Thursday, January 20, “Frustration When Job Searching.” 

The program will focus on ways to cope with frustration in a job search and personal life, tips on how to deal with them and how to keep frustration from consuming search efforts.

Each program will be presented by Joyce Mandel. 

Ms. Mandel has worked in human resources and as an employment specialist. She presents her various workshops that deal with employability and life skills to young people and adults.

She has presented similar programs in person and across the country.

Registration is required to receive a Zoom link to participate.
