St. Mary’s Plans Celebration of Lights30

WATERBURY — St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation will host the 14th annual Christmas Celebration of Lights at 5 p.m. Tuesday, December 3 when colleagues, family and friends will gather to celebrate the Christmas season and to remember loved ones, living and deceased. The St. Mary’s Hospital Christmas tree will be illuminated with hundreds of lights in honor of or in memory of loved ones. The tree lighting will be followed by a light and song display featuring St. Mary’s Hospital facade lights. Santa will also be on hand for photos.

“The Celebration of Lights Ceremony is an event that will warm your heart, allowing us to begin the Christmas season mindful of the many blessings that we have in our lives,” said Ann Smith, philanthropy officer for St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation.

Parking will be available in the Visitor’s Parking Garage off Cole Street.

Memorial lights are available for purchase for $25 each, three for $50 and five for $100.
