WATERBURY — St. Mary’s Hospital colleagues donated Thanksgiving dinners to families in the Greater Waterbury area, partnering with St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen to identify and contact more than 40 families, who received a complete Thanksgiving dinner.

As part of the Thanksgiving Basket Food Drive, colleagues in clinical and non-clinical units decorated boxes and collected ingredients to make everyone’s Thanksgiving dinner side dishes.

St. Mary’s Hospital provided the turkey to accompany the fix-in boxes. The baskets contained everything to make a family’s holiday meal. The side dishes and dessert ingredients, children’s games, centerpieces and gift cards.

St. Vincent de Paul delivered fix-in boxes and turkeys to families on November 23 in time for Thanksgiving day.
