Hospital Welcomes Three Neurology Care Specialists

MIDDLEBURY — St. Mary’s Hospital welcomes neurology specialists Pooia Fattahi, M.D., Katherine Kedzierski, M.D. and Gena Coelho, APRN to Trinity Health of New England Medical Group at 1625 Straits Tpke., Suite 307. These neurology providers bring a vast knowledge base and years of expertise in a wide range of neurological disorders and are on the forefront of the latest advances in treatment.

Dr. Fattahi received his doctor of medicine from Wright State University School of Medicine.

He performed his fellowship in neuro-immunology and neurophysiology at Yale School of Medicine and his fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard School of Medicine.

Dr. Fattahi serves as the regional chair of neurology for Trinity Health of New England, providing clinical oversight and guiding the expansion of the neurology service line in five hospitals and related health systems in Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Dr. Kedzierski received her doctor of medicine from Temple University School of Medicine.

She conducted her residency training at Yale University School of Medicine and performed her fellowship in neuromuscular medicine at University of Connecticut School of Medicine.

Dr. Kedzierski was a member of the American Academy of Neurology Practice Leadership Program.

Prior to joining Trinity Health of New England Medical Group, Ms. Coelho, APRN, worked at Yale New Haven Hospital in the Neurology Stroke Center.

She received her master of nursing practice degree and bachelor in nursing from Quinnipiac University.

They work with both the inpatient and outpatient population.
