LITCHFIELD — Bringing the Divine Into Healing Body, Mind and Spirit will be presented from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, October 9, at Wisdom House Retreat and Conference Center, 229 E Litchfield Rd.

Michelle Pouliot, N.D., will present the program, which will appeal to midlife women who are interested topics such as digestive issues, insomnia, arthritis, heart health, post-menopausal weight gain and osteoporosis.

For each of these concerns, a naturopathic approach that includes herbs, vitamins, minerals and nutrition will be discussed.

Also covered will be how internal and external messages may interfere with health perspectives, and how to involve spirituality more consciously in healing.

Questions and conversation will follow.

Dr. Pouliot is well known in the area and has been a naturopathic physician for over 25 years.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry at the University of Massachusetts, became a licensed massage therapist and continued to pursue her passion for human health.

She enrolled in Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington, obtaining her doctorate in naturopathic medicine in 1991.

The cost for the program includes lunch.
