LITCHFIELD — The Litchfield Land Trust and The White Memorial Conservation Center will offer native plants at their Pollinators Sale from April 1 to May 14.

Select pollinator-friendly plants in matched kits, that will provide flower blooms throughout the growing season. Pollinator kits will provide food for caterpillars and adults butterflies, bees, flower flies, hummingbirds, and many more. These ecotype plants grow better and stronger because they are adapted to local growing conditions. No more guesswork, just install the correct sized kit for growing conditions and let the power of the plants do the rest.

Available are the Woodland Shade or Sunny Meadow Kits; the Mailbox Garden including 16 plants of 4 species; the Veggie Garden Booster which includes 32 plants of 5 species; the Pollinator Powerhouse which includes 48 plants of 6 species, plus a free Pollinator Pathway Medallion, and the Pollinator Pathway Medallion which is a 6-inch metal placard that indicates that a yard is pollinator-friendly.

Visit to see the plants.

Pre-order garden kits by Friday, May 14, and orders will be ready for pick-up on Saturday May 22 at The White Memorial Conservation Center. All proceeds benefit the Litchfield Land Trust and White Memorial Conservation Center, both are 501(c)3 not-for-profit organizations.
