MORRIS-WOODBURY — The Waterbury Symphony Orchestra will perform its annual Picnic and Pops concert twice this summer.

Gates will open for the first show at 6 p.m. Friday, July 5 at South Farms, 21 Higbie Rd. in Morris.

Gates will open for the second show at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, July 7 at Hollow Park on Hollow Road in Woodbury.

The South Farms concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. and the Hollow Park performance will begin at 6 p.m.

Lead by Leif Bjaland, the symphony will perform hits from such classic films as “The Pink Panther,” “The Incredibles,” “42nd Street” and “Rocky.”

VIP tickets at South Farms, $75 per person, include a pre-concert reception with wine, heavy hors d’oeuvres and reserved seating.

VIP tickets at Hollow Park, $50 per person, include two glasses of wine, light hors d’oeuvres and covered seating.

Tickets for both concets are $15 in advance, $20 on the day of the concert and $5 for children.

Children younger than 5 will be admitted at no charge.

No outside alcohol is allowed at South Farms. Those attending may purchase a variety of food, beer and wine once at the venue.

General admission tickets for Hollow Park can be purchased  at Woodbury Drug on Main Street South and Canfield Corner Pharmacy, 2 Main St. North, both in Woodbury.
