NEW LONDON — Members of the Coast Guard Band will present “An Evening of Chamber Music,” at 7 p.m. Friday, April 16, a free performance before a live audience at the Groton Bible Chapel, 60 Toll Gate Rd.

Commander Adam Williamson will lead a performance of Mozart’s wind octet, Serenade in C. Clarinetist, Chief Musician Cedric Mayfield, offers his improvised medley of spirituals and pop tunes.

Limited seating is available. Free tickets are required and can be obtained by visiting us-coast-guard-band.ticketleap.com. Covid-19 protocols will be in place including wearing of face masks and social distancing. 

The Coast Guard Band’s musical content is available via YouTube by searching United States Coast Guard Band and subscribing. Livestream events can be accessed through a link on the Facebook page, which also offers updates and video performances from the musicians.
