WOODBURY — The Book and Movie series returns for the fall with “Random Harvest” at 6 p.m. Thursday, September 19, to the Woodbury Public Library at 269 Main St. South.

The program will be led by discussion leader and Woodbury Library Interlibrary Loan Librarian Cherie Dalton.

Written by James Hilton, the Academy Award-nominated movie follows an amnesiac World War I veteran who falls in love with a music hall star, only to suffer an accident which restores his original memories, but erases his post-war life.

The film was released in 1942 and stars Ronald Coleman and Greer Garson. Copies of the book are available to check out at the library.

Those seeking additional information may call the library at 203-263-3502.
