THOMASTON — The Thomaston Public Library will host its annual Book Sale at the Car Show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, September 8 in front of the library, 248 Main St.

There will be a large selection of fiction and non-fiction books for adults and children, DVDs, CDs and audio books.

Most items will be 25 cents to $1 and the library suggests that participants bring their own bag.

The book sale is in conjunction with the car show hosted by the local Police Explorers and the Thomaston Woman’s Club arts, crafts and vendor fair in Seth Thomas Park, which runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The car show will close Main Street at noon.
