Waterbury Reads recently expanded its program, thanks to a grant from the Watertown Foundation and space from the Waterbury Police Activity League. The Waterbury Reads Book Barn is in the parking lot of the Waterbury Police Activity League, 64 Division St., Waterbury. Watertown Foundation President Linda Merriman, left, and Cia Killeen, chair of the Grants Committee, helped to celebrate the opening of the Book Barn which will enable the Waterbury Reads team resume free book distributions to children when it is safe to do so.
