WOODBURY — The Arts Alliance of Woodbury will host its inaugural Members Exhibition at the Woodbury Library Gallery for the month of December. The exhibition will showcase the work of 27 area artist members. Works being featured include many from nationally recognized fine artists and include works in oil, watercolor, acrylic, graphite, mixed media collage, photography, mosaic, costumery and wall sculpture. AAW board members will host a reception to launch the exhibition from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, December 7, with almost all of the exhibiting artists in attendance.
“We are simply thrilled by the quality and diversity of the submitted work by our members and are extremely fortunate to be able to exhibit our work in the exceptional gallery space created by the Woodbury Library last year,” said AAW board member Michael Gallagher. “The library’s excellent stewardship of this new gallery has already made a profound impact for the arts in Woodbury and we hope that this will be our first Members Exhibition of many more to come.”
An established fine artist, photographer and gallery director, Michael Gallagher is steering the exhibition for the Arts Alliance of Woodbury and also is exhibiting in the show.
