The Quintessential Brass Quintet is one of the finest chamber ensembles emerging from The Hartt School at the University of Hartford. The group's focus is creating engaging performances through modern original brass music and innovative arrangements of timeless masterpieces.

Members Matthew Suckling and Peyton Johnson - trumpet, Noah Fotis - French horn, Rob Earhart - trombone, and Danielle Kendall - tuba are transforming brass quintet literature and audience appeal. Their program of Palestrina, Anthony Plog, Michael Kamen, Daniel Schnyder, and David Sampson has something for every listener.
